DHL handed it off to USPS 5 days ago, and and the USPS tracker still says “on its way to USPS.”
I’m considering just calling AMEX and having them cancel the charge. I’ll let Blipshift fight it out with USPS over their lost profits.
Pink 720S for your time.

I am handling a claim for a diamond cutting company, a well known courier had the package in their system and then once it got to the sort facility the updates... stopped.
Who knows what happened, but my client is out a few diamonds...

It’s worth giving them a call. The same thing happened to me once, and they found it within 24 hours and I had it the day after that.

I’m number 26 in the customer service queue. 45 minutes on hold, and counting.

I’d get in contact with Blipshift before going to the credit card company, and seeing what they say. If Blipshift doesn’t deliver, then dispute the charges with the card provider.
FWIW, when I moved, I sent eight boxes of stuff via USPS 2nd day Priority Mail. Four were on time, one was a day late (though it somehow had an earlier delivery date than the other three boxes I sent at the same time, so maybe they were optimistic), and three apparently sat around IAH for a week not getting updates, before eventually being shipped on and arriving intact.

my experience is such that I’d wager DHL is at fault.

If it shows being taken into the sort facility I’m almost positive it fell off the line which is why the updates stopped. That has happened to me many times with smaller packages.
